We’re diving into the fascinating world of cephalopod nervous systems! At our lab, we’re starting new research into how cuttlefish and octopus sense their environment and process information.

To support this work, we’re setting up specialized systems to care for cuttlefish eggs and hatchlings.

Through this effort, we aim to study the neural circuits underlying sensory coding—how cephalopods represent and interpret complex stimuli using advanced techniques such as two-photon imaging.
